2nd Perth Symposium on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention – Mapping the field – 9th/10th November,  South Australia


The 2nd Perth Symposium on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention has the theme of “Mapping The Field”. This title arose from the interest in knowing what is already being offered in WA and other parts of the world to address CSA prevention more effectively. Our call for papers has attracted several Australian experts who will present their research and therapeutic programmes in both adult and child contexts as well as the latest effective educational programmes in child protection.

Childhood Trauma Conference – “Trust, love and betrayal” – 29th July-3rd August – Melbourne Convention Centre


Trust, Love and Betrayal are at the core of the experience of childhood trauma and ultimately the relationships which can offer safety, hope and resolution. Each of the speakers will share their most up to date ideas and thinking about trauma using this centralising stock of ideas.

2018 Australian Psychological Society’s Congress – “ Psychology advancing into a new age” – 27th-30th September 2018


The APS Congress is a major showcase for Psychology in Australia. The first congress held in 2016 and themed “Psychology United for the Future” was a show of unity and strength of the profession celebrating growth of all the constituent sectors of psychology within Australia over the last 50 years.
