Permission to be Human: Staying Connected in Times of Traumatic Stress

December 7, 2022 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

We have an upcoming event on the 7th of December at 4:30pm AEST for ASTSS members only!

The event is hosted by Dr Amalia Badawi and our guest speaker is Sophia Parnas (Clinical Psychologist).

Check out the brief summary of the event:

Traumatic stress can lead to dysregulation and disconnection in clinical settings, and can hinder treatment outcomes. This webinar will draw on evolutionary, psychological, and neuroscientific theories to explore how clinicians can stay connected with self and others at such times. Practical strategies for strengthening the therapeutic alliance stemming from Sophia’s philosophical, humanistic, and scientifically informed approach will also be discussed.
