The theme of the 2026 ISTSS Annual Meeting is Traumatic Stress in a Troubled World: Collaboration on Evidence and Action. This theme reflects ISTSS' commitment as clinicians, researchers, and advocates to tackling the worldwide impact of traumatic stress, particularly in difficult and challenging times such as these. Now more than ever is a critical time for us as experts in traumatic stress to come together to share about the important work that we are doing to advance the field of traumatic stress, build community with our colleagues grappling with the struggles of today, and promote public policies and initiatives that support trauma survivors throughout our global community.

We encourage you and your colleagues to submit a proposal for consideration for the 2026 ISTSS Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, United States on September 23-26, 2026. WISTSSare seeking proposals for poster presentations, flash talks, paper presentations, symposia, and workshops. Submissions are due Thursday, February 19, 2026 (Friday for us in Australia) and can be submitted here.
