Priority One, Staff Support Services, Queensland Ambulance Service. An interview with Todd Wehr, Executive Manager

Priority One is a staff support program that’s been in place since 1992. It’s a program that’s based around a peer support model, with about 200 peer support officers (PSO’s) across the state in various locations throughout Queensland. We have trained nearly 600 PSO’s during the life of the program.

Peer support officers are volunteers who undertake a five-stage selection process from which they are carefully selected.

ESTSS 2017 – Odense, Denmark: From a student’s perspective

In this town, trauma specialists gathered from across the world to share knowledge and questions regarding the theme of Child Maltreatment at the 15th European Society of Traumatic Stress Studies Conference.

ESTSS began with a day of preconference workshops.
